Jordynn turned 1!

Jordynn turned one on Friday! Wow. Where did the time go? Jordynn I'm so thankful that you came to our family. You're my little rose in this house of thorny boys! We love you so much!
This is Jordynn the day we took her home from the hospital.

Forget blowing out the candle...I want that icing!

Jordynn got her first Cabbage Patch Kid. She pulled it out and gave it a love. So sweet!

Then she offered baby a bottle. Jordynn has a very short attention span and it was cute how long she rocked and loved on baby. She carried that doll around with her for quite awhile. We love you Jordynn. Happy Birthday!

The shovel

A couple days ago Trayton asked if he could dig a hole with Dad's shovel. Jonathan and I were both outside and told him he could if he were careful. Well, we should have been a little more clear on what 'be careful' means because Trayton accidently hit Kade upside the head and split his head open. Good thing Kade has a tough head. He cried until I offered him a popsicle and then he was fine.

2 weeks of heaven!

We've had Dad home for almost 2 weeks now and it has been heaven! The boys didn't need any time to get reacquainted with Dad. They were immediately ready to rough house and play. Jordynn was a little hesitant at first. By the end of the first day she was still eyeing him questioningly but was no longer afraid of him. I can't even begin to describe how great life is right now. Here are a few of the things we have done since Daddy came home!
This is what happens when Jordynn is left alone with the boys. Yep, they put Kade's underwear on over her clothes (cause she wanted it!).
The boys started soccer. Haha. They are terrible. Jonathan and I were laughing so hard. Atleast the only collision was between Trayton and Kade and they didn't bring anyone else down!

Jonathan decided he didn't have enough to do and tore down our old shed. Now he has barely a week to build a new one.

We dyed Easter eggs.

We went Kite Flying! The boys had So much fun.

And of course we had to have a picnic.

On top of all that we've played board games, watched movies, and had LOTS of rough housing. The boys LOVE all the kung fu fighting they get to do with dad and Jordynn and I just try to stay out of the way. Thanks for all your support.
