Happy Birthday!

An unbelievable 6 years has gone by. Trayton you are a joy to have in our home. You are an incredibly kind big brother and friend. Just today as kids scrambled to get candy from the pinata you saw smaller kids who didn't get any and you willingly took some from your own stash and handed it out to others.

You are so thoughtful of others that everyone wants to be your friend. Just look at how many friends you have.

You are always content with your life. When I asked you what you wanted for your birthday you asked for a fruit bowl and pizza.

You LOVE reading and have looked forward to getting Nana's birthday book for several months.

Happy Birthday Trayton. I'm so humbled and grateful that you were sent to our family. We love you tons!

All About Braelynn

Braelynn's first month of life has gone by so fast. I love watching my kids grow and develop such different personalities. Here is what we've learned about Braelynn so far.

Braelynn's first Sunday. 4 days old. Braelynn is great at church, even if she does think she needs to eat every 30 minutes.

First Bath. Braelynn DESPISES bath time.

Braelynn LOVES snuggling in the sling.

Dad is magic. Braelynn instantly falls asleep whenever Daddy holds her. (If only I could convince him to get up in the middle of the night!)

Braelynn may have started out tiny but she already has a double chin and is working on making it a triple.

Braelynn has huge feet and long toes. Sorry sister.

Braelynn is quickly becoming a great sleeper. She's already giving me 5-6 hour stretches on most nights. (This is Braelynn at almost 5 weeks old).

Braelynn has a very adoring older sister. Jordynn is constantly smothering her with kisses and loves.

I can't wait to see what the next month brings.

Oh, Nana. How we miss you! You turned the house upside down and left us all laughing. The boys are singing over and over, "Hi, My name is Joe..." and "Baby Shark". AND I have Triops on my counter. (In case anyone is wondering...Triops are prehistoric monsters also known as dinosaur shrimp that millions of kids have brought to life simply by adding water to eggs that are in suspended animation.)

Jordynn keeps asking for Nana to do her hair.

Today Trayton told me, "Kayleen didn't stay long enough. Grandma and Nana stayed a lot longer than she did." I'm not sure why Jordynn buried you under blankets and pillows and books and puzzles but they sure had fun with you. Thanks for coming.

Thanks Grandma and Nana for spoiling me. Today Braelynn turned 4 weeks old and it was the first day I had to manage all 4 kids by myself. We miss you both so much.
