Funny Story!

{Dr. begins ultrasound.}
Dad: Boys do you know what that is?
Trayton:(bewildered)Is it food?
Mom: No...not food.
Kade:(VERY matter of factly) I know. It's SOUP!!!

Yes mom did have soup for lunch that day. It makes perfect sense in the eyes of a child. Until Dr. turns on the sound and the beating of a tiny heart is heard.

Trayton: (jumping up and down, barely able to speak) THAT'S A BABY!!!!



That's right. We're having a baby. Due May 12th.

P.S. Our soup is full of sugar and spice and everything nice!!

Christmas 2009

I know I'm way late in posting this but I'm following the philosophy of 'better late than never.' We had a really great Christmas. Just having Jonathan home this year was the absolute best Christmas gift I could ever get.

The boys got skateboards. They were SO excited. Kade's method of skate boarding consisted of holding dad's hand and having dad pull him.

Trayton was a champ on the skateboard. Now if only the snow would melt and they could go for another ride...

Trayton LOVES Madagascar. So we gave him Madagascar 2. Can you see the excitement in his eyes?

And for the final picture... Jordynn upgraded to a new bed. She was actually really excited about it. Sometimes it's hard to see her grow up. But she sure is the cutest little thing EVER!
