Okay, here are some of the better ones. Not perfect, but better.

Out takes
Trayton kept sticking his foot out in this picture. I guess he wanted to show his sandalls off... So Barb finally took the picture and told him that she had one of his sandall so that he would put his foot down.
This is the one time Jordynn got upset. Kade bonked her head. Do you see the sad guilty look on Kade's face?
Here Kade is letting me know that he would rather still be asleep.
In these last two Kade is trying NOT to smile. Mom was being silly trying to make him laugh but he was determined to pout. We ended up with these goofy looks from him.
Picture Perfect
We had family pictures taken last Saturday. There are very few pictures where Trayton isn't making a funny face. Kade had just fallen asleep when we got to the park and was not thrilled that I woke him. But he came around and reluctantly gave some smiles every now and again. Jordynn was perfect though. This picture of the three of them is my favorite. Aren't they SOO cute!?!Tuesday, August 26, 2008

New Kitchen
I finally took pictures of the new kitchen. I LOVE it!! I don't have any old pictures with the nasty yellow paint that was on the walls when we first moved in (at least not on this computer). So I just posted how it looks now.
We still have some trim work left and eventually we are going to replace the flooring but it's such a huge improvement. Getting the washer and dryer out of the kitchen and turning that space into countertop and cabinets makes the kitchen look twice it's size.

Jordynn
Jordynn is officially 4 months old today. Time goes by way too fast. She has gotten so big. She's rolled over a few times but prefers to just lay there and have her brothers bring her toys and play with her. Jordynn has got quite a set of lungs on her. She recently found her voice and loves to squeal. And not just cute baby squeals, I'm talking ear piercing shrieks. It's horrible and she finds it sooo funny. Jordynn also got her first taste of rice cereal last week.
She was intrigued by it but not thrilled. She is such a good baby and we are so thankful for her. We love you Jordynn.

Work of Art!
Since we are remodeling our house, I visit lots of different home decorating websites and love hgtv. I've noticed the experts often use a canvas spattered with paint to decorate the walls. I think it looks kind of cool but was surprised at how expensive it can be. Why would I pay 100's of dollars for something that looks like my kids decorated it?
So I bought some canvas covered frames and we did a little family art session. I love them.
So simple and easy and the kids got to help. Every time we sit down at the table the boys talk about how fun it was to paint with mom and dad. AND it only cost like 10 bucks.
