Okay Kayleen, You asked for it!

Okay, Kays, you were the one to mention Kade's bandaid and you blogged about the "Easter Egg" on his head, so I thought I should show everyone what you did to my little baby. Haha, I don't really know what happened. Kade was sitting next to Kayleen on the bench at church and then all of a sudden he was on the floor screaming. Kayleen wasn't really at fault (I don't think) but it's fun to blame her for it. Kade hit his head on the corner of the hymn book holder on the bench in front of us. The swelling has already gone down in this pic but it still looks pretty bad. He bled just enough to leave blood splotches on my dress and need a band aid, but he is a pretty tough guy and doesn't complain about it unless someone mentions it to him.

ANOTHER BELLY SHOT! Here's a picture of me with about 3 weeks and 3 days to go. I know the picture isn't the best but I guess when you have a 3 year old as your photographer you can't expect miracles. Speaking of 3 year olds, yesterday Trayton told me that my belly was getting so huge that it was starting to scare him. Thanks Trayton! I hope it doesn't scare anyone else. LOL.

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter!!! We had such a great time this year. Kayleen came to visit and that made it even better. The boys loved coloring eggs. Trayton's favorite color is blue and he dyed all of his eggs blue. It was great fun. Then this afternoon we had a little egg hunt in our front yard. The boys absolutely loved it. Kade even tried to eat the dyed eggs he found. I swear that boy will eat anything. I hope you all had a great Easter!

Landie Rose

We had a new niece born on Wednesday. We are so excited that she is doing okay. To make a long story short Caroline ended up in the hospital due to a Kidney infection which then spread to her lungs causing respitory distress. In order to help Caroline the doctors did an emergency C-Section and delivered little Landie almost 5 weeks early. Landie was as healthy as we could have hoped for and Caroline is recovering. We love them so much and are so happy that both mom and baby are doing well.

This last week Aunt Katie came to visit us. The boys and I LOVED having her here. She became Trayton's best friend. He cried for hours when we had to take her to the airport and say goodbye. Of all the places she could have gone for her spring break we are sure happy she came to see us. We miss her so much. She helped cook and clean and wrestled with the boys. I could have kept her here forever!!! We love you Katie!!

Painting

Trayton has been begging me to paint his bedroom since we moved in four months ago. Well, I finally got around to it and since I made him wait so long I thought it was only fair if he got to help paint too. He had lots of fun. His room is only half finished right now so there isn't an after picture to show. That will come later

DENTIST!!

I decided it was about time for the boys to meet the DeNtIsT!! I think it was scarier for me then it was for them. Jonathan was going to get the afternoon off and come with us but he was "voluntold" that he had to go to a training class and couldn't come. So the boys and I went by ourselves. I am so proud of my boys. I was in one room getting my teeth cleaned and they were in the room across the hall getting their teeth cleaned. So they were all by themselves with a stranger poking around in their mouth and they laughed the whole time. I kept waiting to hear their screams but they never came. Trayton was a little nervous but put on a brave face and surprised us both by having fun. The hygeniest was so patient with them. She was great. She even showed the kids how to move the seat up and down and how to spray the water and use the suction. And she didn't even get mad when one of the boys showered her with water.

PreSchool

Trayton has been begging us to send him to school for MONTHS. Finally I decided to get motivated and start a 'home-preschool' with him. We just started on Monday and he absolutely loves it. After lunch we spend just a half hour or so learning the alphabet, colors, shapes, numbers, and we do a fun activity like play dough. Nothing too elaborate...I'm not THAT motivated. This week we are learning the letter A. I'm glad that Trayton is enjoying it. I hope I can keep it interesting enough so he doesn't get bored. Any ideas?
