Grandin Press

Grandin Press, where the Book of Mormon was first published.

The painstaking, tedious process of printing a book really impressed me.  I wish I could remember all of the names of the tools and steps in the process.

They had to have lots of windows in the rooms to let in the natural light so that they could see the little letters.

Ink splatter all over the wall.

Each square on the 'table' are one page of the Book of Mormon.  They printed it on big sheets of paper (the white part of the 'table' to the right).

An original copy of the first set of published Books of Mormon.

Original Flooring.

So many people devoted so many hours to print this book.  It was a labor of love.  I'm so thankful for the Book of Mormon.
