I loved not only learning about church history but also learning about the cultural differences between then and now.
The Martin Harris home was built row upon row of stones. Look how aligned these rows of stones are. Impressive. I can't imagine the labor that went into a home like this.
Martin Harris mortgaged his farm in order to finance the printing of the Book of Mormon. It was a huge risk but so very important for all the early Saints to be able to own a copy of the Book of Mormon.
I love that they keep this land as working farmland. It's beautiful, productive, and really takes you back in time.
