We started our trip off by taking the cousins who are 12 and older to the Palmyra Temple to do baptisms for the dead. What an amazing way to start your day. Grandma Crandell brought some family names with her and we were able to watch her be baptized for her ancestors. It was really neat to see all of Jonathan's family in the temple together.
Then we went home, changed, and gathered all of the younger cousins up to return to the temple grounds.
One unique fact about the Palmyra Temple is this set of three windows. Most windows in temples are stain glass windows. The only window that is not a stain glass window is this set in the Palmyra Temple. During construction of the temple President Gordon B. Hinckley specifically requested this unique window set. From inside the temple if you look out this window you see this next image.

Braelynn loved riding on Dad's back. Okay so her joy was short lived but I loved that she was confined to one spot and that I wasn't carrying her.
Every once in a while we let Braelynn get down. She thought she was so funny. Like her pink pants? The whole family was wearing the same cool Crandell Reunion T-shirts. Braelynn also likes to disappear. I needed something to be able to quickly identify her and keep tabs on her. Those hot pink pants did the trick. Love them!!
If you look closely at this picture you'll see a stone wall. It is located there on the temple grounds. A worker at the temple said this was a retaining wall that was built by the Smith brothers. Kind of cool that it is still there.
